Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Outspiral mobile application ("App") operated by Outspiral ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Account Registration

• You may register using an email address and password, or by signing in with Apple.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as needed.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Description of Service

Outspiral is a self-support tool designed to help users understand and navigate rejection sensitivity. The App provides SOS crisis tools, episode journaling, pattern analysis, and educational content.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Free Tier

The App offers a free tier that includes SOS Mode (always free), up to 10 episode logs, 3 response scripts, 2 post-episode prompts, Learn articles, and a basic toolkit.

Pro Subscription

• Pro unlocks unlimited episode logging, all response scripts and prompts, Pattern Intelligence, evening check-ins, monthly vulnerability reports, and priority support.
• Pro includes a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period.
• After the trial, your subscription will automatically renew at the then-current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID subscription settings.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to Pro features until then.
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers and networks
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm another person
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent free tier limitations

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, content, features, code, and trademarks, is owned by Outspiral and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your use of the App does not grant you ownership of any content or intellectual property.

Content you create (episode logs, journal entries, toolkit items) remains yours. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Outspiral shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Outspiral provides no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information provided through the App. The App is provided "as is" and "as available."

8. Disclaimer of Medical Advice

Outspiral does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The App is intended for informational and self-support purposes only. Always seek the advice of a qualified health provider with any questions regarding a medical or mental health condition. See our full Disclaimer.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through Settings > Delete Account. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden.
